It's been #GeneralSynod in York over the weekend. Not a sniff of it here on Mastodon as far as I can see. I've searched the hashtags for it and #Synod, and zero. Is this down to federation, or did no one stick here from the great migration from the bird site? There are a few on BlueSky but nothing like what used to happen.

Catholic pastoral leaders have sacrificed the future of the church to maintaining the clerical system as it now stands, and their bitter resistance to admitting that sexual moral teaching as it now stands needs to be reassessed and that women and LGBTQ people have rights equal to those of straight males is all about maintaining clericalism.
"Unity" comes with a very steep price.

Eine Anmerkung habe ich aber: wenn die App von #synod.im nur im google Store abrufbar ist, dann habe ich aber doch die google Tracker drin, oder hab ich da gerade einen Denkfehler ?
