Synergy
This was really interesting.
Quite a slow-paced settlement builder. Feels kind of relaxed and gentle.
Very striking art style. I like it. The colours are lovely, the buildings all look interesting (and handmade / put together from what is around), and the various animations are nice.
The world itself feels very much post-climate collapse. Harsh landscapes, sparse vegetation, rancid water that needs purifying.
Has a fascinating mechanic for resource gathering. Unlike other games where you maybe chop down a tree, or pick berries from a bush, here you have multiple options for gathering, and I think it adds another layer to it.
You can completely destroy the resources. This might be the only option - for example, rocks can only be destroyed; makes sense, rocks don't grow back. But you might destroy a bush, fully extracting its fibres and berries. And so on.
Alternatively, you might prune a plant. This might give fibres, but no fruit.
Or you can pick berries or fruits, but receive no fibres.
However, each resource gathering building can only perform one type of task. So the building might be set to pick fruit, but those workers are now unable to be assigned to gather fibres. To do both, you need to either perform the full extraction - and destroy the plants - or build two gathering buildings.
So it provides some nice, gentle decisions about how you want to approach the world and the tension between long- and short-term requirements - do you take care to maintain all the plants, or do you prioritise the short-term needs?
There's also a lovely mechanic where you need to analyse the resources first, to understand how you can harvest from them.
Later in the tutorial it begins to introduce the concept of well-being, which is affected by things like how much shade is near to people's homes, and whether social needs are being met.
I've only played the tutorial so far, and not quite finished it yet, but it's already looking like a fascinating different perspective on the settlement survival genre.
No issues at all on Linux.

So many demos to play.
Top of my list are Millennia, Monomyth, Synergy and Pacific Drive.
I already played (and enjoyed) Reus 2, Lightyear Frontier, Abiotic Factor, Bore Blasters and more - very handy for them to release their demos early 😄
I will need to look through the full list of what's been released once Steam has stopped timing out due to everyone loading the page at the same time.
