Played several hours of the new #swordartonline game #echoesofaincrad so far and it’s decent. Not ‘great’, but certainly good enough. More positives than negatives, and the negatives are mainly niggles.
Like:
Increasing your combat level with, say, Rapiers, and then later unlocking the ability to boost your Sword Arts each time you level your weapon skill up, BUT not receiving any owed points. Your favourite weapon type’s Arts now lagging around 10 levels behind a new type you might switch to, and grind up from level 1.Huge mapless levels that show you a yellow marker in the top corner, and nothing else, whose required routes get more torturous with each new map. 😂🤣🤬 (Each map sub-area only fills in once you get to the save spot, or ‘bonfires’ for other Souls players, and if you’re lucky you spot the blue light in the distance, behind 3 sets of impassable cliffs and rivers)
