Spent 3 hours migrating the "old" #windows10 computer of my ~80 y/o neighbours to #linuxmint ; The printer from 2004 thats connected via parallel port works again (under Windows 10 every 2nd Text line was bold due to driver issues). They already used (ancient) OpenOffice, so the switch to Libreoffice was easy. And the webmailer stayed the same.
The main headache was the Samsung phone always defaulting to "charge only" for USB, making it hard to transfer pics (search the settings for USB and switch it over after each connection is not practical).
Is there any way to configure a #Samsung Android phone to default to a specific USB mode?
