Over two years ago, Western Digital said they would be investing heavily in #riscv. Did they live up to it? Seems that way!
They have published their dual-core #SweRV chips as open source over at github, and it looks like they're developing them pretty actively. The first commits were in January this year, and they're at v1.2 now.
They're promoting RISC-V over on their own site too, but I don't know how many chips per year they put out.
