People have complained that they are receiving SMS warning them about voting for social democrats in Sweden.
Majority of those who received the message are people with non Nordic background.
This is not only illegal, in Sweden, but also EU and a breach of the GPDR.

This is funny. I grew up in this extremely affluent area, Saltsjöbaden. I then settled in the adjacent multi-ethnic rental tenement area Fisksätra, and eventually joined the Former Commie Party.
Now the Party has assigned me a polling station to represent at, wearing a logo jacket, greeting people outside, offering election tickets.

Despite recent changes – including the deportation of teenagers, lowering the age of criminal responsibility and sending 14-year-olds to adult prisons – many voters and politicians continued to see Sweden as a “champion of human rights and a champion of the rules-based world order where human rights is an important part”, Stauffer said.
“But it is quite clear that the Sweden Democrats do not have that ambition. They don’t see Sweden as an important player on these issues on human rights. So there will be less focus on this and Sweden contributing to developing the judicial framework around human rights.”
He added: “It’s a fair guess that the negative trend will continue with SD in government, the view from abroad of Sweden will continue to deteriorate, less and less will be seen as a champion of human rights, but as any other country maybe. For some time Sweden has been seen as the exception.”
In an attempt to win back voters, Andersson’s Social Democrats have also moved to the right on crime, immigration and integration, meaning that a win for the left was unlikely to mean a reform of current hardline policies, said Stauffer.
“With a Social Democrats-led government, many of the things we see as problematic are not going to be rolled back. But maybe negative development will not continue in the same way,” he said.
With polls so tight and record early voting expected, the performance of smaller parties could prove critical.'

@kallekn med detta sagt så handlar valet om vilken människosyn man har och om att stå upp för alla människors lika värde.
Plånboksfrågorna har förstås stor betydelse i vardagen och vi behöver omedelbart återställa klimatpolitiken, men det centrala är frågan om vi vill hålla samman samhället och minska klyftorna eller fortsätta urholka och splittra det.
Varje röst kommer att vara av betydelse på söndag.

'Only 15% of Swedes approve of Donald Trump. And yet ideas quite similar to Trump’s ethnonationalism now define much of contemporary Swedish politics, and are challenging our democratic foundations. The Swedish Institute for Human Rights, an independent government agency, claims that Sweden is increasingly shaped by growing acceptance of xenophobic views, hate crimes and by punitive policies directed at children. In its 2026 annual report it expresses “serious concern” over an erosion of human rights in Sweden.
The legal watchdog Civil Rights Defenders also claims that a shift has taken place, where the government no longer talks about rights, but about control. Ministers have entwined migration with crime, and increasingly depict citizens, even children, as problems, risks and costs.
If this authoritarian turn can be widely accepted so quickly in Sweden, where the democratic and humanitarian foundations were until recently solid, it can happen anywhere.'
