The fan is just under 6" in diameter and is set into the lid on the end opposite the two vents so that the air inside will have more space to circulate in and get cold before leaving. Theoretically.
Tomorrow I get a block of ice and take it for a test drive.

The foam cooler is from a friend who got it when her dad gifted her a ton of frozen meat for the holidays. This cooler is larger and much thicker than most foam coolers. I originally thought I would build an alchemical macerator with the cooler, but this build suits more-pressing present needs.

Took one look at the run of 90˙F days predicted, and I'm finally turning the gigantic foam cooler I got from a friend into an #DIY A/C unit using a small fan and two ABS plastic elbows.

Today is #SunDIY and I built a bottle to glass converter from scrap wood and an old window glass cutter.
1) Turn the bottle once while pressing the cutter onto the glass with the lever.
2) Rotate the cut line over a candle flame for 2 mins.
3) Quickly hold the cut line under the cod water tap, hear the faint 'plic' sound and pull the two parts apart.
4) Sand the edges. A lot.
