  3. @stefanlindbohm I would like to attend and pick up the idea we presented at #FOSDEM: combining the modelling of #OSRD with the simulation power of #SUMO

If this could work, we would probably have a relatively robust tool for railway studies, don't you think @kaat0

  9. holy shit the JSA appears to have finally gotten tired of having to unearth the ceremonial lucky squid from the Lawson's bag to put it in the burnable garbage, and has switched to tossing it into a paper envelope

  15. Aonishki got his ten wins! He will be an ozeki again on the next banzuke.

He’s 10-1, which also puts him in the sole lead for the championship.

He’s doing this with a fucked-up foot. He re-injured it against Takanosho. No specific word on how bad his foot is, though we know he tore off his largest toenail when he fell. But the underlying injury—a wrenched ankle and a broken bone in his toe—was obviously aggravated.

  21. Starting to feel sorry for the tate-gyoji. He went years without a wrong call, and now he's had two just this basho. Plus one in May. He might just pull out that tanto for real at this rate...

  22. this isn't just because I swear they use dead body against Kotoshoho more than anyone else even when he didn't deserve it, this was a textbook dead body call and I'm chuffed as hell that they reversed the gyoji's call and went against Onosato regardless of his ranking.

who wants to bet Onosato will drop "due to injury" in a huff within the next day or two?

  23. I had literally JUST finished saying that the shimps never reverse calls where the reversal would go against the yokozuna, saw Onosato v Gonoyama, said "that's dead body [rule] if I've ever seen a dead body, but they won't reverse it," AND THEY REVERSED THE CALL AGAINST ONOSATO. I mean, they SHOULD have, it was the right call, he was way the hell out before Gonoyama landed, but they NEVER reverse calls against the yokozuna. I am floored but pleased?
