And did you know that car side mirrors are made of plastic? #SuicideCardinal's beak had a higher Mohs value than the mirror. Couldn't polish out the damage.

No doubt a relative of the one here that we dubbed "Suicide Cardinal". Attacked his reflection in the car mirrors, in the little window of the laundry room, and was probably responsible for the thumps we heard on the big front window.
We painted a cartoon cat on the laundry window which sort of worked. He'd sit in the hedge glowering at the cat.
