Whew, alright… Despite the controls, I managed to get through the first story section today! A lot of skill had to be issued, and I keep making the wrong inputs, but we're slowly coming along.
Apart from the somewhat janky controls—which I can overlook considering the source game is from 1996 (!)—I'm actually having a good time exploring the areas, even though they are probably more deadly to me than they were originally intended to be :blobcatDerpy:

It wasn't actually that many changes (not difficult ones, anyway), but the stream still managed to go for 7 hours. To be fair, 2 hours of those were spent playing with cuties. We were supposed to be testing but oh well~
Many config changes, some tag fixes, client mod additions and mod updates were completed. Also made a PR for one of the fixes to Quark.

Heck we almost got to the mining part, but whatever! I had a lovely time with @kuerb1 coming over and controlling my airship. Then later @capitalthree (lizzie) joined and we roped our airships together to fly together.
lizzie then used her "Drilloon" to make a big hole in the ground down into a cave, aaaaand ... that's where I wrapped it up for today. "

After doing a couple of odd jobs, I took on the engineering task of upgrading my starter airship with improved propulsion and steering. Thrusters are a bit wasteful for the power they provide (but very cool!), so bio-diesel into propeller bearing it what we went with, instead.
Resource gathering? I don't know what you're talking about. There was no such plan, I swear!

Either way, we did a much-needed gear upgrade today. Two pieces (the Divine/Spark scythe and the buckler) are now at Rank 11, which is the highest level we currently have access to. Especially the scythe got some sweet improvements out of that upgrade :blobcatThumbsUp:

The ending was more abrupt than I had expected it would be, truth be told. But maybe that's because there's still Half-Life 2: Episode One and Half-Life 2: Episode Two to go through. So we'll see if the abrupt ending of the main game makes sense.

Well, then. We managed to finish up with the second story arc of God Eater Resurrection! As usual, no summary because spoilers, but I can say that I failed a mission for the first time :blobcatPensive: Not a flawless play-through. Not that it was one before :tehepero:

Next Monday we're going to start with the third and final story arc of the first game. Let's see how long that one's going to take me. We're already at the 21st stream. There is still a chance that The Witcher 3 will keep the standing record for most streams for one game, but its pedestal is starting to shake.

We also made some actual progress in the story today! Brendan, too, is now back home alive and well, and we have even found new signs of Lindow—we even encountered him face-to-face… well, sort of. You'll understand if you watch the recording.
Despite the abysmal drop rates of the items I still need to upgrade my gear, I'll stick to the limit of two hours for free missions next time as well. Maybe we'll even manage to get to the end of the second story arc :blobcatBongo:

So far, we have become the… leader? queen? of a pack of antlions who dutifully storm to their deaths and then get replaced by a new one shortly after. Despite, or maybe because of, the antlions being present, I still manage to get hit. A lot :blobcatDerpy:
Next time, we'll pick up the chapter Entanglement, which the Half-Life wiki describes as chapter 9a of 13. So there still is a bunch of stuff ahead of us. Not sure if I'll be able to finish this next time.

Well, I ended up doing mostly story missions today. Only one free mission, but I cleared that multiple times to compensate. In hopes of getting an Imperial Crown from the Dyaus Pita. Which did not happen. Sadge.
