Storm Ciarรกn zorgt vanaf het eind van de ochtend voor zeer zware windstoten in het westen van het land. Vannacht werden er langs de Franse kust 'ongekende' windsnelheden van 193 kilometer per uur gemeten. Het zwaartepunt van de storm lijkt wel boven zee te blijven.

#Cycling home today was fun. The first bit #storm designated #StormCiaran is here and so the #rain was heavy with a south-easterly #wind gusting to about 50 km/h. Luckily, Iโd packed my #waterproof #overtrousers and so I didnโt get too wet except around my ankles, wrists and a bit down the back of my neck.
