It’s #superbowl day! On this Superb Owl day, like like to share this drawing of a Burrowing Owl. The Burrowing Owl is one of the many endangered species that is threatened by the proposed development of California Forever. California Forever is a billionaire real estate flip on a massive scale. Flannery associates, the business front entity of the billionaires, promises jobs and housing, but just a tiny bit of digging into their publicly published proposal will show you that their definition of “jobs” and “housing” are jokes. For example, every techie that moves to the new city who already has a job counts as one of those “new jobs.” And the “housing?” Mostly 1,000,000 homes that the existing local residents could never afford. But did we ever expect billionaires to tell the truth?
