One of the best, most sustainable “new” communities in the world, #Stockholm’s Hammarby Sjöstad, was originally planned for empty nesters. Then 10-11% of early residents ended up being kids aged 0-5. Early planning was for 1 school & day care centre. Later 3 schools & 20-ish day cares were planned.
