  6. Here we go again: Western mass media justifying state terrorism and genocide, not to mention the erasure of a past grounded on land theft and settler colonialism...

"For my new book “How to Sell a Genocide: The Media’s Complicity in the Destruction of Gaza,” I attempt to demonstrate, beyond a reasonable doubt, that U.S. media coverage of the war on Gaza was one-sided, racist, dehumanizing, and often veered into outright incitement.

I examined over 12,000 articles from the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN.com, Politico, Axios, USA Today, and The Associated Press, along with 5,000 TV segments that aired on CNN and MSNBC. The focus is on center-left media outlets influential with the Biden administration during the first year of the conflict — with an emphasis on the first few months, when Israel firmly established its narrative justifying the genocide, rendering mass death inevitable.

Here are seven statistical findings that prove the U.S. media’s bias against Palestinians.

    Israel’s “Right to Defend Itself”

The media’s penchant for invoking a nation’s “right to defend itself,” typically followed by the rationalization of mass civilian killing, was reserved almost exclusively for Israel. On CNN and MSNBC, guests, anchors, and reporters mentioned the right to self-defense for Israel 94 times more than they did for Palestinians. In print media, Israel was afforded this right over 100 times more frequently than Palestinians in Gaza."

  11. The 2026 US Counterterrorism Strategy lists anarchists and trans organizers as national security threats and calls for their "rapid identification and neutralization." COINTELPRO used that same word as a technical term. Most of its targets were never charged. They just lost the capacity to organize. The line from 1903 to now is unbroken.

  12. How many terror attacks in the West have been state-sanctioned? 🤔

Operation Gladio was a secret "stay-behind" army established after World War II. It was only in 1990 that the public learned that the CIA, MI6 and NATO trained and directed an underground army of paramilitary units across Europe to foment bloody acts of terror, including including the 1980 bombing of Bologna Centrale railway station, which killed 85 people and wounded over 200.

Vincenzo Vinciguerra, a Gladio operative jailed for life in 1984 for a car bombing in Italy that killed three police officers and injured two, explained:

“You were supposed to attack civilians, women, children. This was to force the public to turn to the state & trade their freedom for the security of being able to walk the streets, go on trains or enter a bank.”

  22. "Western governments must combat “antifa and far-left terrorism,” Ms. Jacobsen’s prepared remarks asserted, casting the effort as an evolution in counterterrorism following the “global war on terror.” Her prepared speech defined far-left terrorism to include threats from communists, Marxists, anarchists, anticapitalists and those with “eco-extremist” and “other self-identified antifascist ideologies.”

“It is important to recognize their actions as political terrorism rather than mere protest or criminality,” said her prepared remarks, though it was unclear if she delivered them exactly as written. As evidence, the speech pointed to left-wing protesters who had recently clashed with the police in Italy.

Ms. Jacobsen’s appeals were part of a sweeping new effort by the White House to press foreign governments and embassies abroad to join its fight against what it calls far-left terrorists. The Trump administration is deploying its global counterterrorism machine against far-left movements like antifa — shorthand for “antifascist” — despite offering little evidence they present a dire threat to U.S. citizens.

This article is based on internal State Department documents and interviews with current and former U.S. officials, as well as officials in foreign governments that were asked to aid the effort, all of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive security issues and closed meetings."

[...] The #IDF has an official ethical code according to which its soldiers and officers are educated. The official ethical code emphasizes the importance of adherence to mission and purity of arms. The IDF works extensively to instill the official ethical code in soldiers through educational activities during basic training, commander courses, educational workshops, and more.

Jewish terrorism is just an extension of state terrorism. It's neither new nor surprising, it's carried out with impunity across every sector of Israeli society. The incident documented in this video is no worse than thousands of others that go unreported. It's being addressed now only because it's becoming too visible to deny or conceal.

Even the #Ynet (a site that frames everything through the lens of antisemitism) article frames it with mention of stone-throwing, as if that justifies the soldiers' conduct. Here are some user comments on #Ynet accompanying this report and video, demonstrating how all forms of violence have been normalized:

Two problems here. If right-wing bots are manipulating the comments section, Ynet moderators should block them, but the bigger issue is that this is incitement and hate speech. As someone who comments there regularly, I can confirm: any comment that challenges Israel or the IDF, or draws comparisons to Nazism, gets blocked and removed. They can and do moderate, albeit with a strong preference for incitement against Palestinians. This kind of content is allowed to stand, even when flagged for hate speech.

  24. Sorry, but this is exactly my definition of STATE TERRORISM:

"As the United States and Israel prepared to go to war with Iran, the head of Mossad, Israel’s foreign intelligence service, went to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a plan.

Within days of the war’s beginning, said David Barnea, the Mossad chief, his service would likely be able to galvanize the Iranian opposition — igniting riots and other acts of rebellion that could even lead to the collapse of Iran’s government. Mr. Barnea also presented the proposal to senior Trump administration officials during a visit to Washington in mid-January.

Mr. Netanyahu adopted the plan. Despite doubts about its viability among senior American officials and some officials in other Israeli intelligence agencies, both he and President Trump seemed to embrace an optimistic outlook. Killing Iran’s leaders at the outset of the conflict, followed by a series of intelligence operations intended to encourage regime change, they thought, could lead to a mass uprising that might bring about a swift end to the war.

“Take over your government: It will be yours to take,” Mr. Trump told Iranians in his initial address at the war’s start, after saying they should first seek shelter from the bombing.

Three weeks into the war, an Iranian uprising has not yet materialized. American and Israeli intelligence assessments have concluded that the theocratic Iranian government is weakened but intact, and that widespread fear of Iran’s military and police forces has dampened prospects both for nascent rebellion in the country and for ethnic militias outside of Iran to launch cross-border incursions.

The belief that Israel and the United States could help instigate widespread revolt was a foundational flaw in the preparations for a war that has spread across the Middle East...."

  25. "Anyone following Israeli media discourse in recent days may be experiencing a severe case of deja vu. Alongside euphoric reactions to the US-Israeli pummelling of Iran (backed by 93% of the Jewish-Israeli population), politicians and prominent commentators are now clamouring for an escalation in Lebanon – hoping to see a repeat of the devastation Israel has wreaked in Gaza.

Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon have already killed close to 1,000 people in the past two weeks, after Hezbollah resumed its rocket fire into northern Israel in support of Iran. The Israeli army has issued blanket evacuation orders covering a vast area in the country’s south, displacing over a million people from their homes. On Monday, it announced the launch of a “targeted” ground invasion, and officials have briefed the media that they are preparing to mobilise hundreds of thousands of reservists in order to implement “the Gaza model, but in Lebanon”.

Israel’s leaders are not hiding what comes next. “Very soon, Dahiyeh will resemble Khan Younis,” warned Israel’s finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, earlier in March, referring respectively to a Hezbollah stronghold in Beirut and a city in southern Gaza that the Israeli army has almost completely razed to the ground. Zvi Sukkot, a member of the government from Smotrich’s party, urged: “We must conquer territory in southern Lebanon, destroy the villages there and annex the territory to the state of Israel.”"
