Might have been running Runeterra again for about a week or so because a new runner showed up and beat all my former World Records that were played on the normal animation speed.
For about a year now you've been able to change the animation speed, making it up to 4 times as fast, but no one actually ran the game again up til now. I did two runs on 4x animation speed half a year ago, but got bored because there was no one to compete against. I was also not going to split the boards into animation speed categories - there aren't enough runners for that, so I just beat the faster times again now.

Shoutout to my dear friend ktc who reminded me to check if I had Runeterra installed on my SSD. I've been unknowingly handicapping myself due to running on the wrong hardware. 🥴

The third run after my longer break from speedrunning Metroid Dread brought the PB. The time of 1:35:22h was mainly caused by the much shorter loading and door transition times on Switch 2. This wouldn't have been a PB on Switch 1, where my best time was 1:37:13h. ⏱️

At least now I have a proper time to compare my future Switch 2 runs with. 🟰

Today's stream I started with an introduction to the One Cycle Drogyga trick in Metroid Dread.💡
Usually it requires at least two cycles to defeat this boss, but this trick reduces it to one and therefore saves up to twenty seconds during the run.
