The Los Angeles times is finally reporting on the leaked LAPD documents released by Worldleaks a couple weeks ago. The story explains how the records reveal that the bomb squad officers responsible for blowing up a whole street in South Los Angeles were all found to be culpable but received only minimal punishments consisting of only very short suspensions.
As usual with mainstream reporting on ransomware leaks, the Times quoted but does not publish the actual records. But don't worry! We got you! Read the story and then read the records. Also, we have actual audio files of internal affairs interviews with the bomb squad members and other stuff.

There is an unredacted copy of the LAPD Internal Affairs investigation of the bomb squad cops involved. IA reports are *very* hard to come by. LAPD is fanatical about supressing them. There is audio of the involved cops' testimony to IA, a ton of photos, and so on. Again, this is only a small fraction of what there is, and I will keep adding to it over time.

The first two incidents I'm working on are (a) the LAPD killing of Eric Rivera and the 2021 LAPD fireworks explosion. I don't have nearly all the stuff up there yet, but there's enough now to make it interesting.

There's an unredacted copy of the Inspector general's report, previously only released by the City heavily redacted. There are confidential deposition transcripts, audio of 911 calls and police radio, and lots more. Sometime this weekend I hope to be able to upload video depositions of the cops who killed him.

As you may have heard, the ransomware gang Worldleaks stole files weighing 7.7TB from the Los Angeles City Attorney. They kept them private for a few weeks but yesterday they posted them all again.
Their site is made to prevent bulk downloads, and the kind of naive scraping I know how to do isn't good enough. People are working on that problem, but meanwhile I'm left to DL files one at a time.
