Ugh. No doubt about it: I need to upgrade monitors this year. I have two options, both of which I'll likely take...

1. Buy some used EVs from one of my contemporaries. Should be cost-effective.

2. Beef up the existing monitors with new drivers and amps. Surprisingly also cost-effective, but also a little more complicated.

If I can get this accomplished before March, I should be in excellent shape for the summer... #SoundGuy #SoundEngineer #LiveSound

I hate the colder months. Not only do I get older at the start of them, but things slow way down work-wise. On the bright side, though, I'm already mostly booked for next summer, it's just a matter of finding more (and bigger) gigs to compliment them.
