  1. I added the Multi Pro blocklist from github.com/hagezi/dns-blocklis to my Mikrotik as an Adlist, what with all this talk of smart TVs and residential proxies lately... my mom still has to be able to get to Netflix and HBO, so I can't block them from the network totally, you know? It seems to block brightdata.com... #SoThatsNice

  5. Everyone knows "A History of Violence" was the last VHS release (tho I thought it was a documentary on the history of humans doing violence or something until I looked it up and found out it's a movie more in the context of "he has a history of violence"), but I didn't know what the last DVD was... turns out they're still making them: dvdsreleasedates.com/

    So that's nice.

    I should make a #SoThatsNice hashtag.

  7. Today (technically yesterday) I tried to start an 8-bit-friendly "minified" #maug but ended up putting that effort toward slimming down maug a bit. It's still a bit much for any 8-bit platform, what with all the function pointers, but I did learn you can avoid a costly "x % tile width" by comparing 0 with "x & (tile width - 1)" instead. So that's nice.

  9. I managed to get tnfsd into a custom ports overlay for my freebsd retro server and was able to serve Sublogic Flight Simulator so my FujiNet could boot it pretty easily after that. So that's nice.
