New #SonicRoboBlast2 #Speedrun is up! #KnucklesTheEchidna takes his chance! This one's a double feature, with the All Emeralds category going in the replies!

New #SolSestancia2 #Speedrun video is up on my channel now! #MetalSonic takes another go at it!
Significantly better than my original run, but still the slowest character so far. I think much better might be possible, but he's not going to pass the best possible Metal Sonic 3.0 runs, that's for certain. I hope you all enjoy!

Guess what? New #SolSestancia #Speedrun, with vanilla #MetalSonic! Yeah, he’s still the slowest among the characters I ran this level pack with so far, but using most of Metal 3.0’s routes, I was able to get a much better time than I originally had!

Another Wednesday, another #SonicRoboBlast2 video! This time, it's a compilation of a small handful of my #MetalSonic 3.0 runs, when this addon was brand new to me. I promised this last week, so here it is now!
Also, new #SolSestancia2 #Speedrun coming this Friday, featuring Metal Sonic 3.0!

Good morning! I've got a new #SonicRoboBlast2 #Speedrun today! #MetalSonic 3.0 on #SolSestancia! This was a really hard one to get; Metal 3.0 makes wrangling vanilla Metal feel easy. Yet again, however, I got a new personal best; the route kind of makes me want to re-run vanilla Metal Sonic on this pack, see if I can do better than I had before. Definitely can't do better than 3.0, but we've certainly come a long way since my first Sol Sestancia runs.

Got a new #SonicRoboBlast2 #Speedrun this week, an individual level run of Techno Hill Zone Act 2! Got a new personal best with a character I've run a few times, #MetalSonic 3.0, Eggman Nega's upgraded version of our familiar blue copycat.
What's that? You didn't know I ran this character at all? Yeah, I've got some explaining to do. Not much, actually. I ran him a few times months ago, but wanted to compile those runs into a video together. I just never got around to doing that. I did it now, though, and you'll see that video next week. If you don't want to wait for that video, you can find each individual run on Speedrun.com in the SRB2 Extended Categories; I seem to be the only one playing Metal Sonic 3.0 at the moment. But you can change that, if you want!

Got us our first #WhisperTheWolf #Speedrun on my channel, in #SonicRoboBlast2! This is just an individual level run, this time, on Techno Hill Zone Act 1. But it was a fun run! I'm not quite proficient with this character, but I may play her more in the future. She's one of my favorite IDW Sonic originals.

And now we have the All Emeralds Run for #MetalKnuckles in #SonicRoboBlast2, as promised!
Unfortunately, this week was too busy to really dedicate the time to it that it deserved, so the run is kind of... awful. I can (and will) do a lot better. But the important thing here is that it's done, and now I have a time to beat!
This probably won't happen for a few weeks, though. I want to get other runs done first.

New #SonicRoboBlast2 #Speedrun today, as promised! This time, #MetalKnuckles takes the field!
This was a fun run, even though I was under some IRL time pressure at the time of recording. Little clumsy for my taste, but I think I did an alright time regardless!

Today we return to #SolSestancia2 as #JanaTheFox picks up where she left off last week, and blitzes the rest of the #SolSestancia saga that's been released to date!
Substantially less clumsy than last week, and got a much better time than my Metal Sonic run, taking over 10 minutes off my time! What a rush!

And for those of you who enjoy my #MilliePrower runs, here's the other Sky Sanctuary run! She did better than Jana, but only because there was a better route available to her; I'm not sure Millie could keep up with her if they had to use the same routes, let alone do this much better.

Got another #SonicRoboBlast2 individual level #Speedrun this week. Actually, I've got two, both of them on the OLDC 2023 Sky Sanctuary level! First up is #JanaTheFox, a character I've been working on getting better with recently, because of how similar she plays to Zero in #MegaManZero. I think I did pretty alright. There might be a better route available to Jana than the one I took, but this one was decent enough for me in the moment.

Welcome back to #SolSestancia as #JanaTheFox rushes through at incredible speed! Honestly, this was a fun #Speedrun to do. I'm not as experienced with Jana or any other character in StephChars as I'd like to be, but Jana is a fun character to play in general. It certainly doesn't hurt that I love #MegaManZero, and her gameplay is very strongly inspired by it.

Another Wednesday, another #SonicRoboBlast2 #Speedrun on The-Flour!
This is the last one, I promise. 😅
For this final video, I decided to play my favorite modded character, a humble #Tails edit named Millie "BluEyes" Prower, created by PikaJade. I've shown her off before, but if this is your first time seeing this, she's essentially a #Transgender Tails whose traded her normal sustained flight ability for a series of what might as well be extra jumps, each use of which charges a powerful tailspin attack that provides a boost of directed speed that grows stronger the more of these extra jumps you use.
Also for this final video, I decided to finally go out of my way and collect Gerome, the janitor guy from #PizzaTower. I didn't bother going for him before, even though I knew everyone but Fang could out of the roster I selected before I decided to do it with Millie, but this time, I felt it was worth going for it.
I hope you enjoy!

I've got another #SonicRoboBlast2 #Speedrun for you! This one's a sequel to last week's #SolSestancia – that's right, we're going to #SolSestancia2!
I don't have as much experience with this level pack as the first one, but I'll get better with it in the future, and I hope you all enjoy it nonetheless!

It's Wednesday, folks, and you know what that means! That's right, it's another The-Flour Lap 2 run in #SonicRoboBlast2! This time, it's a run with the Blue Blur himself!
After him, there's only one vanilla character left to run it as!

Decided to do a full run of a level pack called #SolSestancia in #SonicRoboBlast2! Yeah, there's a lot of dialogue, so the very nature of a #Speedrun means a lot of it is gonna collide with each other, unfortunately. But the levels themselves are fun to speedrun! I hope you enjoy!

Here we are with #ShadowTheHedgehog running The-Flour in #SonicRoboBlast2! It was a fun run, although I unfortunately had a mishap with the audio during the second lap. I think I figured out the cause, so it shouldn't happen again in later videos.

Guess what? Another #SonicRoboBlast2 #Speedrun is up, this one in the All Emeralds category as #Tails! Not a lot of runners for this one, to my surprise, but I guess it makes sense; Vanilla Tails doesn't have a Super state in this game, so he has no real incentive to go for them during a speedrun.

Another #SonicRoboBlast2 #Speedrun in the All Emeralds category! This time I return to my favorite transgender vixen, Millie "BluEyes" Prower! I think I did pretty well; if I wasn't going out of my way for Chaos Emeralds, I could have gotten a better time than my Any% record.
Also, happy #Pride everyone!

New #SonicRoboBlast2 #Speedrun is out on my #YouTube channel. This one is of a modded character that you've probably never heard of. She's got the bare minimum ability required to beat the game at all, but I made do. She's part of a pack of two characters, and I did a run with the other character as well!

Another #SonicRoboBlast2 #Speedrun, this time on the best custom level ever, Desert Zone!
Seriously, it's the best custom level ever made! No way to improve at all! It's perfect!
What's sarcasm?

I've been enjoying trying out FOSS games and sharing them with my 5.5 year old son. He's really liking Sonic Robo Blast 2 (https://www.srb2.org/). He's getting the hang of it! I took a look at the forum posts and it looks like it is just recently 25 years old and still active. People are making new maps and continuing to develop the game. So cool!
