More than 100 people joined us for the first edition of this seminar, where four INAM researchers presented their work in advanced materials.
The event offered a space to share ongoing research, exchange ideas and strengthen connections within the institute.

🔬 Martí Pastor and Julia Gorina, secondary school students from the 𝗝𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗶 𝗖𝗶𝗲̀𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼́ 𝗟𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗿𝗮, are joining INAM for a two-week research stay with the 𝗣𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽.
They are discovering advanced materials research first-hand through projects on sustainable technologies, catalysis, nanomaterials and optical applications.

🎓 Congratulations to 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘇𝗼 on successfully defending her PhD thesis on 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘇𝘆𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝘆𝗲𝘁𝗵𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 (𝗣𝗘𝗧) through PETase, a more sustainable approach to plastic recycling.
Her research was carried out at INAM (@ujiuniversitat) and supervised by Dr. Ana María Sánchez-Pérez and Dr. Antonio Guerrero.
