  6. This Women's Day, we celebrated Joan Arwa Ogwang. When Joan opened a solar bakery in Kisumu, Kenya, she had no experience, no guarantees, just a Lytefire solar oven, an unshakeable work ethic, and the drive to overcome every obstacle.

    Three years later, she runs East Africa's first profitable solar bakery. 9 employees. 400kg of baked goods a month. 180% revenue growth in one year.
