And maybe that’s the solution for the enshittified state of the internet:
- Web browser (HTML&CSS&JS only, no server side) can do a lot nowadays
- Web does not need app stores, tracking, ads to run. Hosting static page is (practically) for free.
- Small, focused utilities that do their job well are the cosy place of the internet, as opposed to corporate platforms.
- Corrupting thousand small projects is way harder than buying one big tool that started with good intentions.
