Based on how he's dressed, can you guestimate when this photo might have been taken?

What are the odds of a person having two different slides of Queen Elizabeth II riding her horse from two different randomly purchased lots of slides. Both lots purchased from the United States.

Thank you photographer of May 1974 for the photograph of the sign explaining where you were.

Two slides from the same set. I know they were developed in October 1966. Any idea where in the world?

It's the cake couple and their car. Later in 1966. Film was developed in January 1967 but from the foliage I'm guessing more like October 1966.

There he is, Cake Husband

It's one of the awkward adult needing to talk to a group of children. Is he breaking up a squabble? If he trying to get them under control?
Same set of photos as the front seat cake.

I'm scanning slides from another bulk buy. I seem to have a woman frosting a cake on the front seat of her car. This is from May 1966.

I'm not going to pause to share each and every red border slide I scan right now. But I have to share this one.
The label is "4 million a year visit Niagara Falls."
According to Niagara Falls, ON, that number is now up to 12 million. My husband and I were two of those people this year. https://www.toniagara.com/blog/niagara-falls-frequently-asked-questions/#:~:text=Approximately%2012%20million%20visitors%20visit,during%20summer%20and%20holiday%20weekends.
For comparison: the 1949 slide and my photo (taken with an Olympus Pen 8) from just about the same location.

I'm processing the last few of the Americana Images box I bought off eBay a couple years ago.
Here's a medium format shot of Marie Billeter and her dog from New Year's Eve 1970.

Here's a New Year's Eve photo. It comes right at a transition between collections. There are three distinct sets of slides from this box.
So, it's 12/31 and maybe 1960ish?
Any educated guesses of approximate location? Or a better idea of the year?

Here is Rob Barnes relaxing with a ginger cat. It's the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

I'm at the geolocation stage of this set of slides. It's the Saturday after Thanksgiving, 1973. Rhea Coleman is hugging a woman named Beth. Beth might be her grand daughter. I know from previous slides that Beth is in college.
Now from the window behind them we see a grassy quad and some buildings. Is it a recognizable college campus?
Or given Rhea's PJ looking attire, could she be in hospital?

I realize this is a long shot...
I have two 1972 Christmas photos probably from Michigan but they are blurry and I don't know the area well enough to recognize the area.
Do you?

I love it when there's a legible address in an old photo.

A view of a ship off the coast of Fuchal. Any ideas what ship or ship line it might be?
Photo was taken in July 1963.

Here's another location mystery I'm working on. It's a church. I think it's in the United States.
What I do know: it was taken around July 1960.

Slide AI-1920 is the wing of a Pan-Am plane, photographed in July 1960.
-
I'm now processing the remaining slides from the Americana Images box. I think this is an aerial view of either somewhere in Lebanon or Iran as the other slides on the role are from those two countries.
Any ideas?

The very last slide from the five bound box of slides I got off eBay. 2354 slides in total.

December 1962: A body of water, a road, a tunnel and interesting geology. Any idea where in the world?

Spent a couple hours tracking down evidence of a brick wall that has mostly been torn down at a location in Washington D.C. Only then to later find a slide where the family is watching the wall nearest them being torn down.

Erin/Hartford Wisconsin, July 1936. This is a shot / reverse shot from the corner that at one time had a church, a gas station, and a restaurant further down.
The church is still there but apparently closed. The restaurant is still there. The gas station has been razed.

6,000 slides
Archived slidesA couple years ago I started this project of scanning slides. About 3,000 slides in, I thought I was done… and then more slides were found. So, this is, I think, really and finally the end of scanning. I am now working through tagging the digital images to figure out which ones I’ll be posting.
