Vy Buss, Norway’s largest bus operator, has ordered three Solaris Urbino 9 LE electric #buses to operate in #Slemmestad, a suburban area of #Oslo. This marks the debut of Solaris’ 9-meter battery-electric bus in the #Nordic region, with deliveries set for July 2025. The Urbino 9 LE is a zero-emission midi-class vehicle, ideal for both urban and suburban routes, offering ample seating despite its compact size. The buses will be equipped with a Scandinavian package, including extra thermal insulation, snow chain drawers, and anti-elk lights. Since 2021, the Urbino 9 LE has been adopted by customers in several #European countries, and now #Norway joins the list.
