First advent, 0 °C on the ground, -8 °C at 1500m AGL, clear sky.

So, perfect conditions to crank the engine and have some fun in the air. 🛫🪂❤️

Spotted at work during my last regular shift of the season. A season full of hurdles that we overcame as a team. Lack of spare parts, prolonged rain periods, inflation, ....

Nevertheless, I managed to complete 108 drops and logged a total of 46.8 block hours on type.

Looking forward to 2024 🛫 🪂

There are some privileges to being a #skydivepilot. You are always surrounded by great people, you are part of a quite special operation AND you are taken care of.

Thanks to @Exilsarahl, the pilot’s low fuel alarm was resolved in time, so we resumed our operation momentarily. 🛫🪂🦄🧑🏻‍✈️

Dear #skydivepilot colleagues,

In the past, there have been several accidents in paradropping operations caused by AAD activation within the aircraft. Let's prevent further accidents by understanding the gear of our skydivers.

An Automatic Activation Device is part of the skydive gear, designed to automatically deploy the reserve when the skydiver exceeds a certain vertical speed inside the activation window.

Nach einem letzten Automatensprung ging es für unsere Schüler gestern zu ihrem ersten Sprung mit manueller Auslösung. Dabei wird der Schirm erstmals nicht von einer am Flugzeug eingehängten Leine aufgezogen, sondern muss vom Springer selbst am Handgriff ausgelöst werden.

Während vor dem Sprung die Anspannung bei allen Beteiligten nahezu greifbar war, wurde ich nach der Landung von vielen strahlenden Gesichtern begrüßt. 🛫🪂 #skydive #skydivepilot #worthit
