  1. I had a great time at #SIPS2025 last week! I learned lots about theory building, preregistration tools, scientific assessment and dissemination.

This being my fourth SIPS, it was about time I hosted my first (on-the-fly) #hackathon. Reach out if you'd like to join our small team making a tool to standardise #hypothesis formulation!

  2. Which can't work at all without coefficiency (127): Realizing that you weren't carelessly served espresso in a dented mug, but that it's a fancy stone mug that must be. #budapest #sips2025

  3. In the "Using AI for good" session at #sips2025 this morning, we were challenged to guess which of the two text were #AiGenerated (see attached picture). 100% if those answering got it right!

  4. I'm on my way to #SIPS2025! Started with a stroll through rainy #Bergen this morning, currently on the 7 hour #Bergensbanen train along the fjords, over the snow capped mountains, and into the eastern valleys.

"The Research Quality Evaluation (RESQUE) framework provides recommendations for a responsible research assessment that does not rely on flawed metrics such as the journal impact factor or the h-index.“
Instead we value open science with a „rigor profile“."

  7. So happy to finally be able to join #SIPS2025 online. Always heart-warming and stimulating to hear about all the interesting discussions on how we can improve the work that we do.

  8. Yes, I'm terrible at self-promotion, but since it came up ... I'm heading a hackathon at #sips2025 on scientific labor:

Title: So just how much work is involved in doing this project? Using the Heliocentric Model of Open Science Documentation to understand labor in scientific processes.

It's tomorrow at 10:30 German time.
