I was recruited to join my first #BigTeamScience project after stumbling into a hackathon at the @improvingpsych #SIPS2019 in Rotterdam. Almost 5 years later the article is published in AMPPS: https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/25152459231213375
We designed a constructive replication of a classical #CognitiveDissonance experimental task, using a induced-compliance task paradigm with added controls. We collected in-person data from almost 5.000 participants across 39 labs (19 countries).

#SIPS2019 and the #repliCATS preconference in Rotterdam were arguably the high point of my professional life. At a time when I was ready to call it quits, I got to meet people who reminded me that the psychological sciences still matter. From that and virtual conferences during the pandemic I was able to bring some ideas into my methods courses especially. There is so much to learn.
