Ekahau Sidekick и RSSI‑offset: физические ограничения метода и пять независимых причин неточности клиентской модели
Аннотация. В статье рассматривается физическая основа измерений Ekahau Sidekick и механизм применяемого RSSI‑offset с позиций теории антенн, теории шума радиоприёмных устройств, статистической теории сигналов и стандартов IEEE 802.11. Показано, что scalar RSSI‑offset является линейным сдвигом уровня и не моделирует ни реальный SNR клиентского устройства, ни структуру QAM‑созвездия, ни алгоритм rate adaptation, ни роуминговое поведение. Помимо пяти независимых физических и системных причин неточности, рассматриваются системные упрощения Ekahau, касающиеся MIMO‑усиления, многолучёвости, оценки airtime и визуализации SNR. Приведены верифицированные численные оценки погрешности для конкретных сценариев и практические рекомендации.

The manufacturer reused pins 4 and 5 for i2c on the cheapest board. I forgot that+kicad gave me no hint
So now the touch I wired to pin 5 is useless. I can use this PCB without another iteration if I get rid of touch functionality and instead focus on code/personality core loading!

We have a domain now! It doesn't do much so I added a preview of the thing! Kicad generating the model as glb and used Google's Model Viewer library to render it directly in your browser!

GNOME 2.x has something that the other Gnome's have never had. Full configurability almost like KDE has
That was the period where I would gladly use both Gnome and KDE on my desktops.
When the Gnome programmer started to think for me, is when I Departed.
I am however glad that the Gnome project exists and thrives, because there are hundreds of thousands of people who like the way that the Gnome programmers work. Without Gnome we would have lost those people to Macintosh
Get back to subject please take your time to go to Amber monitors, to the time when you had to run Sidekick, the time when you had to run DOS 3.3
I'm almost certain, no I am certain that you can't argue, that what sidekick did there for a crude and rudimentary user it interface was advanced

Got this old #Suzuki drivetrain that I've always thought could be a good start for a #restomod project (1.6 liter, 4v sohc + J1 #Vitara / #Tracker / #Sidekick / #Escudo 2wd 5sp). IIRC ~100hp/tq
Which years / era of these cars were the most suspension performant and had the best creature comforts? I like both style front ends; late Sprite/Midget might be more #motorsport looking?

so lets start with the wheels - at least until the end of the month. I have had this Suzuki Grand Vitara since 2019, and he is really great fun to drive. I guess you could say ULEZ stops play, for I am not able to pay £12.50 a day, and even if I could I would not. But at least he will be immortalised forever on here, as will be the adventures we still have left to come in the short time we have together.
