The streets that once echoed with the laughter of children, the calls of vendors and the familiar rhythms of daily life now lie in silence, smothered by dust and destruction.
What was once a vibrant community, full of stories and memories, has been erased in a matter of moments.

‘Shujayea has been wiped out’
"#Shujayea has been reduced to dust. It has been wiped out. They bombed us without warning, they did not drop leaflets or call. While some Palestinians have made their way out of #Shujayea, others have been unable to leave because there are Israeli quadcopters and drones shooting at people leaving their houses.
According to UNRWA, 65,000 Palestinians have been able to evacuate, but there are still families trapped.
One family is calling for any international organisations to evacuate them from the area. They say they have no food, no water. Some of them have been injured and need medical assistance.
