...among the many curses of a neuropsych education is gaining understanding of the whole bodymind system (yup, to do a neuroscience one also has to understand all of physiology or at least a good amount of it). Ohai Monday. Since my fedi timeline is full of stories about #shitAI in academia and creative industries, let me share a good AI policy. And address the AI will lead to a vast mediocratization of the workforce discussion:

which perhaps isn’t surprising considering that during the procurement process “criteria tied to accuracy, bias controls, and key security and privacy safeguards made up only a small portion of the total evaluation score” 🤦♀️

This picture, supposedly from the 'No-Kings' rally in Philadelphia is #ShitAI image of the day.
Several uncanny valley things should've caught your eye:
1) All greyscale, where the rallies are colorful.
2) Way too many people, all evenly spaced - rallies don't look like that.
3) Proportions and scale of JFK plaza are way off. See google earth image for comparison -

But, it points out a curious phenomenon that many infrastructure images from China are always condensed horizontally, exaggerating the proportions. This #ShitAI ingested way too many of those, and spit out exaggerated proportions.
