Ugh, that Argylle movie is already causing a surge in offered Scottish Fold cats in the Netherlands. Breeding with these cats, even crossbreeding, has been forbidden since 2014.
If you are unaware, this breed of cats carries a dominant gene mutation associated with osteochondrodysplasia. This causes painful malformed bones and joint diseases. Half of all also suffer from polycystic kidney disease.
