What do you mean the same thing that powers the lights makes invisible fields? The same fields our planet's core makes? And if you push weird rocks together they zap you? And you use that same light-power to move things? And heat things? Blow things away? Yeah, right.

Me riding a flying machine built from thousands of specially chosen minerals and rocks, formed through a years-long process involving dozens of mages and wizards using fantastical altars you could only dream of understanding, controlled by a flying-machine sage that has devoted their life to taming their unnatural contraption.
Mhmm. No magic to see anywhere.

I wish that I could show people how magical science can be.
Maybe that would help them be more curious about things in their own life?
I'm currently using electromagnets to adjust an electron beam that allows me to take pictures of micrometer and nanometer-scale particles completely invisible to the naked eye.
If that's not magical, I don't know what is.
