Z digit. podatkov potnikov iz 3. držav posodabljamo upravljanje meja in krepimo varnost.

Od okt. 2025 je bilo registriranih že več kot 52 mio prehodov, 27 000 ljudem je bil vstop zavrnjen.

The Entry/Exit System is now fully operational across #SchengenEU area.

Passport stamps are being replaced with digital records for non-EU travellers, helping modernise border management and strengthen security.

Over 51 million crossings already recorded.

In October 2024, @EU_Commission adopted two proposals to digitalise travel documents for people travelling to and from the #SchengenEU.

New rules will make travelling to and within the Schengen area easier, and more secure.

🟢 In December 2024, @EUCouncil agreed on full integration of Bulgaria 🇧🇬 and Romania 🇷🇴 into the Schengen area.

As of 1 January 2025, citizens will be able to travel without border controls to and from both countries.
