Our neighbour works as a #Nurse in the Balfour #Hospital. When our road was blocked with snow, but the top road had been cleared, it was arranged that a #Coastguard vehicle would collect her at an arranged point on the top road, take her to work then bring her back again.

2025 has not been a good year health-wise for me.
Following chemo and radiotherapy in 2024.
I have been diagnosed with lymphoedema, bronchiectasis, heart ventricular dysfunction, stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease. Phew! All of this has been discovered and treated by wonderful NHS staff. Our local trust has been fantastic and as I live in Wales my medication is free.
Although this sounds a lot and a bit of a shock I am very grateful to the National Health Service.

'we need the secretary of state to recognise the reality we’re in, to treat the profession with respect & work with us towards a credible deal'.

Number of #GPs increases in Scotland compared with 2024
Excluding trainees the statistics released on Tuesday show there are 3657 GPs in the workforce which is a 3.7% increase on September 2024.
