"Fine weather. Mosquitoes very thick. Started before 4 am. Sailed for a short distance, arrived at Carlton House after 3 pm. Yesterday it appears the last of a party of about 400 Slaves #Blackfoot, Sourcis #Sarcee, and other Indians took their departure after having stolen 7 horses and committed other depredations about the Fort.
