I was having terrible trouble with the top thread tension in the up shed being too loose, and the heddle always falling over. The down shed (pictured) was always fine, and was where I beat with the little beater. So, it has been in the naughty corner for a while.

Discovered the solution this morning - beat it in neutral.

How does that - neutral instead of down shed - make so much of a difference?! It was back to normal in just one back and forth!

Since @thegiddystitcher wants to bring FO Fridays (Finished Object for those not versed in crafts lingo) back into popularity I figured I'd help out.
A small woven rug. It's a soft bouclé type of yarn in the pattern pics that has been alternated with a plain weave consisting of a simple cotton rag.

Today I'm working with some rug weaving. Pattern is an enlarged rosepath (technically an overshot weave if you look at the pattern draft).
The pattern is done on 4 shafts and six treadles.
I have a small rowcounter to aid me in keeping track of my pattern picks.
