(( Forgot to tag this initially, but oh hey, this one contains #pooltoy / #RubberFur and #quadruped / #feral #furry stuff. So consider reading it if you're into that. Moving on... ))

The inflated kangaroo paddled gently around on the surface, her big feet and hands the only part of her she could easily get under the water. She saw her friend dive once again, and stuck whole face under the surface to watch.

Under the water, the leopard's lithe and agile form darted about. She'd learned by now how to swim like a real wild leopard, wiggling her body like a fish, twisting about, slipping up to the surface to catch a breath before swooping back in.

After a few minutes of this, she had to fully breach the surface, throwing her hair back as she panted.

"Hokay... That feels aerobic, right?" she grinned.

The pooltoy shrugged, "I dunno, I haven't exercised since we were in middle school remember?"

She did remember: her friend had managed to avoid any sort of actual PE classes when they were in high school, and had become a pooltoy mere days after she turned old enough to get that kind of extreme change done, making any sort of exercise pointless anyway: pooltoys were always in shape, said shape usually being round, so long as they had air inside them to keep it that way.

The leopard, on the other hand, had an affinity for things like track, gymnastics, and swimming, to the point people had mistaken her for a large cheetah when she was younger. Of course, at this point she'd be barred from do it competitively, due to all the physical augmentations, but that had never been the point: she liked moving her body.

Her friend, on the other hand, liked lying still, sometimes passing for an inanimate object.

The leopard was considering going back under, when they heard the automated door from the hall slide open.
