Mental health.
Today is a day of 2 facets: feeling relatively ‘normal’ and wondering if it’s all in my head, then dropping into the pit and feeling unable to do anything. I wish it would fuck off.
I feel so much better having spoke up about needing help, but am still scared to call the counselling people.
More tea needed. And a hug from #RogueDog.

Went for a wee #RogueDog walk earlier. The local ponies were out munching grass, and for the first time I specifically reflected on the wave of happiness that washed over me when I saw them. Today will mostly be about taking time. Ran my planned ‘race’ yesterday, bang on the money as far as pacing went with what I wanted. Enjoyed it immensely, although tired afterwards. DOMS kicking in now, after a night of muscle spasms and cramps. I’m definitely a goal motivated runner, so I need to find another run in the new year. @hischeekiness #RogueDog and I were partaking in our daily perambulatory escapades, when I noticed *something* wriggling awkwardly across the road. As it turns out, it was this mole! Had to stop the traffic to pick it up, and after a Quick Look to make sure it didn’t look injured we popped it into the undergrowth away from the road. First time I’ve ever seen one above ground and alive tbh. Such a cutie, and very interested in the smell of Rogues biscuits.
