    Ah, the sounds of high school.

    Supertramp’s biggest album (though not, IMO, their best - that would be Crime of the Century), with the inescapable single The Logical Song.

    I’ve got a huge soft spot for Supertramp: the way Davies’ bluesier and dramatic instincts play against Hodgson’s pop profundity makes for interesting songs.

Si bien se hablaba de diferencia musicales y personales con Rick Davies, lo cierto es que el mismo #RogerHodgson declaró que su partida de Supertramp se debía a que deseaba pasar más tiempo con su familia (de hecho construyó un estudio de grabación en su casa) y tener un estilo de vida más tranquilo. Como resultado de ese trabajo en solitario (donde tocó todos los instrumentos) surgió el 7 de diciembre de 1984 #InTheEyeOfTheStorm donde conviven el espíritu progresivo y la estética pop que ya se habían manifestado en el reconocido “Breakfast in América” del grupo británico.
