Travelling by train from #Hamburg 🇩🇪 to #Copenhagen 🇩🇰 in spring 1985 via the #Vogelfluglinie included a ferry crossing. After arrival of the ship at #Rødby from #Puttgarden, there was enough time to take a picture of the #DSB Class ME diesel, pulling the train off the ferry, visible in the background.

There is a funfact about the ferrie from Rødby to Puttgarden. ☝️😊
When you took the train from #Hamburg to #Copenhagen the train drove into the ferrie. 🚂🛳️
This connection doesn't exist anymore, but the "signs" are still there. 🤓
They working now on a tunnel between Rødby and Puttgarden, than you can take the train again - but not with the ferrie... 🚄 -
