Instead of searching through the photography archive for a #PhotoOfTheDay I downloaded one from my phone's camera roll, taken on my "Invasion Day" ride today.
This is the Whites Road wetland and it is used to capture storm water and provide flood protection. As a bonus it also provides habitat for birds. Only a few weeks ago the pond was nearly overflowing but now the ponds are looking a bit sad.
