I wish I enjoyed the gameplay and story of #Reverse1999 more because I think they have some of the best character designs out there but then playing the game itself is kind of...meh.

I'm really enjoying the art and voice acting of #Reverse1999 but dear God does it take a while to get through. I'm over it for tonight.

...that said moments like 12yr old Vertin being hit in the chest with a grenade launched tear gas shell during a school assembly because she was the ringleader of the students singing the wrong lyrics...

...those moments are why I actually read and listen to the story.

I've been looking for a new #gacha game for the past couple of days. I stumbled across #Reverse1999 and oh my God! The art is gorgeous, I enjoy the story, and the voice acting is well done. I think I'll play this game for a while.

Also, I LOVE the choice to hire actors who natively speak the same language as their characters, and English as a second language, it adds so much charm.

And lets them do entire sections of story in a language other than English, like in the video, a couple of minutes before the timestamp.

(Except Sonetto, they didn't hire an Italian actress for her, and she has a lot of lines and combat barks in Italian...)
