As Labor Day approaches, I'd like to acknowledge the work of the Reshoring Institute and its work to bring manufacturing production back to the United States.
During my lifetime, I've seen the birth and boom of the microcomputer industry, worked with and inside the factories that drove it, and watched Silicon Valley lose nearly all of its ability to produce the hardware upon which the information age is built.
