Had a couple of FAIR shoutouts at @HelmholtzOpenScienceOffice #reproducibility workshop. i'm wondering if/how the TRUST principles (as well as CARE principles) are currently known / play any role to institutions involved in #reproduciblity research. The RDA TRUST WG is currently looking for case study institutions for sgirt TRUST principle adoption use cases & i think trustworthy repository implementations storing reproducible data & methods would be a perfect fit!

Interesting workshop by @benmarwick on #DataVisualisation and research compendia:

I really like the demonstration with code on how pie/bar charts are not ideal for visualisation.
Also, applause for Chris Stantis - not everyone would respond in a similar manner to scrutiny to their work.

@mcaleerp @dsquintana 💯% this.
At #R4E we tell people at the beginning of our #reproduciblity workshops that adopting a few OS practices is totally enough, best one at a time.We all have only limited time & resources so best to pick sth that fits your current ability and implement it.
Just start somewhere, with one OS practice."No need to become a science superhero overnight!"
(Although you could become a 🧪🦸 if you want of course 😉)
