@quixoticgeek and I managed to convince the catering manager to allow us to bunker up with him behind the shutters in the restaurant car, and we’re sharing the last of the mini-fuets.

The train manager was last seen wresting the last of the emergency hammers from a goth girl, and the driver still appears to be alive and conscious, as this train is still moving somewhere on the Spanish network, though I can’t really tell where as we tear through stations before I can make out their names.

The comfort class passengers have raised a barricade in coach 3 using some metal suitcases, and the tourist class passengers seem to be creating small gangs, each being led by a grandmother with a distinctive fan.

I hope #Renfe manage to find us soon, as the truce between those that like their potato omelette with onion and without appears to be starting to crumble…

#renfe being terrible again today.

Firstly, on our train from Ribadesella to Santander: at Llanes, we all had to get off and transfer to a different train. The passengers from the other train boarded ours. Then each train set off in the other direction with the other train's lot of passengers. Odd. (They did the same thing on the way from Uviéu to Ribadesella.)

Seriously unimpressed with #renfe . Our train Astorga to León (RE 12600) cancelled. No information about replacement bus, had to phone multiple useless helldesks to find out bus broke too. They say there will be a replacement replacement bus but they have no idea when.

Abenteuer #Bahn in #Spanien: Wir versuchen vergeblich, ein Ticket für zwei Haltestellen im Gegenwert von 1,65 € zu kaufen... Man braucht für jeden Reisenden: Name, E-Mail, Telefon (wat?) und Auswisnummer (wtf!?) Website von #renfe ist aber sowas von dysfunkional, wir geben nach 30 Minuten auf, da die Seite immer wieder einfriert. Auch wie man ein single-way-Ticket bucht musste man erstmal herausfinden! (War bei der Wahl des Datums - offensichtlich, oder?)
