I also have some real concerns about #Monbiot - loved some bits of #Regenesis but found his ideas on #LabGrownFood and that #pesticides would still be needed all quite incongruous .. on one hand he revels in the biodiversity in the soil on his orchard then a few chapters later talks about how pesticides and fertilisers will still be needed which would destroy that life in soil.

“Regenesis - feeding the world without devouring the planet”
Just finished reading this book. What an interesting read. Very dense with information, so I took it in in small portions. But it has opened my eyes to many structures in our foodchain and -production, that are disfunctional at the least, but can be better described as ruining our world.
