I have been imagining a SETI type of distributed computing for llms that is inherently independent of a data center. Not because I have plans of global conquest, but because I think there is potential in distributed computing on a local network to deal with many issues, including llms that aren't being used to generate slop.
This sort of fits in there and makes it plausible.
One of those backburner thoughts. Interested in seeing where this goes. 🙃
