I had a rather huge article written about the Michigan-Western Michigan game from last week, but it was just too long for this platform. If you don't know what I'm talking about, please go look up what happened and realize that I'm not *just* talking about #sports here. So don't do that "ew, sportsball" nonsense.

There is one very big takeaway from the whole story that I feel is getting way underplayed, and that is that the entire official story, as parlayed by the Big 10 Conference, very literally comes down to a demand that you disbelieve what you saw. We have a clock over here, it shows one second, and what you saw doesn't matter...it didn't really happen.

This is an increasing problem to navigate in a world of Jeffrey Epstein, the Donald Trump regime, AI, and similar crap - a loss of objective grounding. Rather than there being a standard established by consensus and neutral authority, we're dealing with "rules" that serve the whims of those whom we are powerless to affect. Michigan will walk away with this and that will be that; no one will complain because there's money involved and no one is going to lose their money over this.

One of the things I heard in leading the #Greens was, "You can't lead because you don't compromise on anything!" Which wasn't true. Compromise is a virtue; what we did was refuse to be *compromised*. (These were #Democrats . They definitely didn't understand the difference.)

At this point, with all that is occurring, I don't know how to change things for the better, but I'm convinced of one necessary starting point, and that is to refuse to be compromised and to stand up and say, repeatedly, annoyingly, stubbornly, again, and again, and again, and yes again that we won't be "getting over" anydamnthing. Yeah, ultimately, it's a football game and who cares - but they just made it into something much, much deeper with their insistence that #reality is something they control.

The President of the U.S. is a madman, and he lost the 2020 election. The elites of the world ran a pedophilic trafficking ring. Billionaires are recklessly pushing AI and ruining the planet. Right-wing evangelical movements in the U.S. have nothing to do with Christ. Vaccines are efficacious and contribute to overall public health. There's a genocide happening in Gaza. "Human rights" means everybody, including the trans people.

And for God's sake, you lousy sons of bitches, there was no time on that clock.
