Bye Salzburg, it’s been real!
Had a really interesting time at #idw2023 #idwsalzburg2023 #rda #rdaplenary21 (aka the event with the most hash tags ever). Hoping I get to continue to engage with the RDM community - such an important network from a #digipres point of view.
Thanks to everyone for the great conversations and presentations. -

Now on to the fabulous Devan Ray Donaldson - I really appreciate the research work that Devan and others (shout out to @rfrank ) have been doing and continue to do around trust and in particular trustworthy digital repositories!
The (unfortunately pay-walled) paper that Devan is presenting on today can be found here https://bit.ly/3MeN6vY -

What is the RDA WG TRUST trying to achive?
we want to understand:
- what are hindrances to TRUST adoption?
- are these connected to specific implementation comonalities?
- how can we improve the understandbibility and usability of TRUST?we want to clarify the relationship between:

Dawei Lin points out that TRUST (and also FAIR) are often mistaken for standards when they are indeed not standards but more communication tools. The WG is about seeing how TRUST can lead / assist certification.
