Well, I've spent some more time with my puzzle... And made a little more progress. I guess that soon, I'll have to start with the pieces that include the mountains and trees... I've finished many of the "clean" ones now.
It's a very slow process, but it does feel good then I can make some progress...
Guess I'll relax in a different way now, and get back to my book. Spending more time with the puzzle means there is less time to spend reading... 😊

🧩 Well... After more than two months, tonight I sat down for about 90 minutes. I cleared out the pieces on the mat, replaced them with some other sorted ones, and I tried...
I don't have a lot of progress to show for all that tike staring over the pieces, trying them this way and that. I think I only got about 10-15 pieces in.
It felt good to make some progress again, even if just a little. But... My ADHD struggles to keep interested if it takes too long just to find one piece. 😔
I knew this would be a very challenging one. And I hope that, once I may finish it... Some day... That it will feel awesome all the way. I just need to sit down every now and then, and try to get some pieces sorted.
Ah well...
Now, just some simple reading. I started the 8th Decker/Lazarus book a little while ago, am at 27% now. Wonder if I may be able to finish it before March starts... 😊

So I am slow on the uptake here... as I was zenning with my holiday puzzle, which has been a tradition in my family for as long as I remember, I finally realized why the Ravensburger puzzles I´ve been doing for years have gotten increasingly weird these past years.
They are AI generated, of course. Really blindingly obviously AI generated, but that just never occurred to me. And it makes me a little sad- there is just no escaping it. Even jigsaw puzzles.

Tonight, I tried to work some more on the puzzle. I worked on it for almost two hours, and I did make some progress, but it's not as much as I could get with the aurora/sky area...
It's good that I am finding some pieces that fit together, but it's also a bit hard to keep going when it takes this long to make so little progress...
Still, I will probably try to get a bit further again later today... Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 that I'll be successful 🍀

Some more work on the puzzle... I was struggling a bit, finding the right pieces to continue the work in the right bottom area. So, now some of my little bins were emptied, I got the big one where I tried to sort all the mountain, tree, bushes, and snow bits, and I am trying to sort them better. Giving me some distraction from not being able to find the pieces I needed got the corner.
On my tablet in the upper right corner, the second Hunger Games movie is playing.

Yesterday, I had a little less time to work on the puzzle. I had a busy morning, and when I got home, there was a little Dachshund with me, who wanted some walkies and cuddles and such...
Hopefully I can make some more progress tonight, after Sir Little Noise™ (who made a lot of noise... 😔) have had our nightly walkies.
I thought the aurora was a challenge to make, but I started in the right bottom corner and wow... Talk about needing some time to make a little progress... 😅 But... I'll try to keep going at it when I can!

I worked a bit more on my puzzle before I went to bed... Slowly, the top of it is coming together nicely.
I don't know how much I can puzzle this night/day, as I have a busy day ahead. But it would be awesome if I could finish the sky area...
After that, I want to start with the plain snow area in the bottom right direction of the puzzle. That's a lot of "almost the same color". But I tried to sort out the main pieces already, so then the sky is done, I can lay out as much of those pieces and then start to find bits that fit from the corners, inward to the mountains and trees.
The mountains and trees I want to do last. That's the biggest bin I sorted, and I need to sort that better once the other pieces have been used.
It's a great puzzle! 😁 It's challenging, for me at least. I've made a 1500-pieces puzzle before, but that was many years ago and I did that with the hex. (also the reason I didn't puzzle for quite some time, memories and all that... 😔). I already wonder what my next puzzle will be... And if I should try to frame this one as well...
I still need a good frame for the Wolfmoon puzzle, but I need money for that first. 😇
